                           Monday March 25th was an historic event for the General Council of Pastors and Elders. On this day Superintendent Michael Eaddy was installed as the duly elected chairman of the GCPE.

The evening began with a wonderful reception and culminated in a powerful service honoring the great leader of the GCPE. Many dignitaries came to give their support to Chairman Eaddy. Not only were local and national representatives from the COGIC in attendance, but Chairman Eaddy's broad cooperation, support  and appeal brought local and national leaders representing Clergy, Business and Political arenas including acknowledgement through a representative from President Barak Obama.

The service culminated in the Invesiture of Chairman Eaddy and closed with a powerful message delivered by General Board member Bishop J. Drew Sheard. It was an evening where Chariman Eaddy was greatly encouraged to move the GCPE to the next level. Congratulations again to Chairman Michael Eaddy!

  This conference is destined to be one of the greatest hosted by the General Council of Pastors and Elders…

The 2013 General Council of Pastors and Elders Schedule is now available. This year's conference will feature a dynamic array of speakers! We will be blessed an honored to again host the Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, who wull be the keynote speaker on Monday evening. Tuesday morning will not only feature praise, worship and inspiration, but our own General Supervisor, Mother Wille M. Rivers will be the Wednesday morning Plenary Speaker. The great chairman of the General Council of Pators and Elders, Superintendent Michael Eaddy will  be the keynote speaker Wednesday evening. We will also hear from General Board Memner Bishop George D.McKinney on Thursday during the lunch session. The Conference will feature an array of speakers such as Apostle John Eckhardt, Dr. Astead Herndon, Dr, Kenneth  Newman and our own Vice Chairman Destry Bell.

The conference also features a wonderful  track for women coordinated by Lady Winifred Morris.
